ENERGY / MARKETING SPECIALIST
Midstate Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in La Pine, OR (30 miles south of Bend) seeks a qualified applicant for the position of Energy / Marketing Specialist. Qualified applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent with an Associates Degree or a minimum of two (2) years prior utility experience. Certified energy auditor and inspector for the Bonneville Power Administration Weatherization Programs or equivalent. Proficient in the use of Microsoft products including spreadsheet analysis skills, plus written and oral communication skills. Some basic knowledge of electricity, as well as ability to read blueprints desired. Valid Oregon driver’s license required.
INFORMATION SERVICES MANAGER
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or MIS, and five years progressive technical experience across multiple platforms and operating system environments or ten years of upper management experience in the information technology field. Must be able to quickly adapt to changes in technology to assure sustainability of business needs. Must be well educated on protection of systems and information against cyber threats. Experience in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues with personal computers and network servers, understanding of network configurations and protocols. Knowledge of and experience with current versions of Windows, MS Office Professional Suite, Relational Data Bases and Internet Server. Knowledge of mapping and SCADA software desirable. Must demonstrate strong initiative, customer service orientation and ability to meet commitments. Good communications and people skills, proactive, creative, well-organized, neat, self-starter, highly-motivated and able to work under high demand situations. Qualifications must include good attitude, skill, knowledge, ability, adaptability and problem-solving behavior. This is a management position – Salary/Exempt.
