Payment Options

Midstate Electric offers a number of different payment options to its member/owners for their convenience:

Payments may be made by mail using the self-addressed envelope enclosed with the bill.

In person at the Midstate Electric headquarters facility located at 16755 Finley Butte Rd. in La Pine, Oregon with cash, check, money order, credit card or debit card. (A cashier is located inside—during working hours and a drive-up payment depository, located in the parking area, is available for use 24 hours a day.) Working hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Midstate Electric is closed weekends and holidays.

Drop boxes are located inside South Valley Bank in Gilchrist, La Pine and Lakeview and inside Greater Oregon Federal Credit Union in Christmas Valley. You may pay with cash, check or money order at these locations. 

Pay On-Line with ease with your VISA, Master Card, or Discover credit card. In addition to paying your bill online, you can view your kWh usage for the past 12 months. If you are having trouble with "pop-up" blockers, you have a few options: hold down the CONTROL key and click on the link, or add MIdstate's webite address to your browser, or you may need to update your internet browser.

Budget Billing provides the option to have your annual electric bill averaged for a 12-month period so the payments are the same each month. There are no surprise electric bills in the winter when usage typically goes up.

Electronic Funds Transfer allows you to sit back and relax by having your electric bill payment automatically withdrawn from your checking or savings account.  This eliminates the worry of due dates and other issues that may arise, impacting your ability to make your payment on time, and is perfect for those who may be traveling.

Credit Card Payment allows our members to pay by VISA, Master Card, or Discover in the office or by phone. 

Automatic Credit Card Payment allows you to have your monthly electric bill payments automatically charged to your credit card.  With this option, there's no reason to ever miss a payment or the prompt payment discount. This is one of the most convenient services offered by Midstate Electric.

A Prompt Payment Discount is available to all our members who pay their electric bill in full within 10 days of the billing date. By doing so, you will receive a 1.5% credit on your next month's electric bill.
