Rate Classification

The Irrigation rates listed below apply to all irrigation and drainage pumping loads for agricultural purposes.

Off-Season Rates

Applies to irrigation pumping between October 1 and March 31.  Billing will be issued in the month following any kWh energy usage.  This rate applies only if there is kWh usage.

Seasonal Rate

Applies to irrigation pumping between April 1 and September 30.  Billing will be issued in the following month.

The cooperative may disconnect irrigation services during the Off-Season period for the purpose of avoiding the reactive power charge from Bonneville Power Administration.  Should the irrigation pumping customer wish to have the service remain on or reconnected during this time frame, it will be reconnected without a charge.

Adjustment of Demand for Power Factor

The demand charge shall be increased 1% for each 1%, or major fraction thereof, by which the average power factor is greater than +/- 3% of unity.

Determination of Demand

Demand measurement will be made by suitable instruments at the point of delivery.  Demand for any month shall be defined as the average kilowatt delivery during the 30-minute period in which the consumption of energy is the greatest during the month for which the determination is made.

Discounts

If the current month's electric bill payment is received in full within ten days of the billing date, a
1.5% prompt payment discount will be credited to the next month's electric bill.
