Stay Away From Downed Power Lines

Fall is upon us and winter is just around the corner. Winter weather increases the chance of downed power lines. If you see a downed line, keep yourself and others away.

Don’t ever try to help by moving downed wires or cutting tress off power lines. Rubber boots, gloves or a long stick will not protect you from electric shock. If a line is blocking the entrance to your driveway, don’t attempt to drive over it.
