ENERGY STAR® is the symbol for energy efficiency. ENERGY STAR qualified appliances use less energy than conventional products. Midstate Electric proudly promotes ENERGY STAR and offers rebates for qualifying appliances.

ENERGY STAR Appliances must be purchased after October 1, 2006 to receive a Midstate Electric  rebate.

Clothes Washer

To receive a $70 rebate, customers must submit the rebate application along with proof of purchase, make, and model number of the appliance. Rebate does not apply if water heater is natural gas or propane. 

ENERGY STAR qualified clothes washers clean clothes using 50% less energy than standard washers. The Modified Energy Factor (MEF) measures the energy used during the washing process, including machine energy, water heating energy, and dryer energy. The higher the MEF, the more efficient the clothes washer is.
