Duct Sealing

An OSU Extension Energy Services study has concluded that duct sealing can cut the cost of heating and cooling by an average of 30%.

Midstate Electric is offering a $400 rebate for Performance Tested Comfort Systems (PTCS) duct sealing (up to 60% of project cost) and the Oregon Department of Energy is allowing direct tax credits of up to $250 or 25% of the cost of sealing existing or new duct systems. PTCS duct sealing and testing must be completed after October 1, 2006 to receive a Midstate Electric  rebate.
