IMPORTANT NOTICE – Klamath County Right-of-Way Permit Fee
Effective July 13, 2026, Klamath County requires a $500.00 permit fee for all new utility construction performed within the county right-of-way. This fee applies to projects requiring work within the county right-of-way, including: Road crossings, Roadside boring, Trenching.
The $500.00 permit fee is established by Klamath County and is in addition to Midstate Electric Cooperative’s construction charges. The fee will be included as a separate line item on the member’s invoice.
