Midstate’s new optional Residential Time of Use (TOU) rate is now available for residential members. A TOU rate charges different prices for electricity depending on the time of day. Electricity costs more during on-peak hours and less during off-peak hours. On-peak hours are Monday through Friday, 7 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at a rate of $.1200 per kWh. All other hours are off-peak at a rate of $0.0600 per kWh.
